How was your weekend?

Ours was a rather social weekend. My husband drove to a university in the capital to train teachers there last Saturday. Then Sunday morning he joined a sponsored fun run in Manila where he won a medal for finishing 5k. Later that afternoon, we all drove to a nice suburb in the province to attend my daughter's classmate's birthday party. It was fun and I got to talk with fellow school moms. It's already Monday here in the Philippines so we're all back to work and in school. How's your weekend so far?

Exhausting and fun. My 4yr. old nephew is here and he's without a nanny so i'm doing all that Mama stuff while working online. Mama will be here later to get him back. He's currently staying there while we're looking for a nanny.

Aunts like you are heaven-sent. I wish my girls had an aunt we can easily call to babysit for a while. :o)

@MGjhaud Yup, since my kids were born. We had housekeepers when they were babies and toddlers, but never a yaya. :) My husband and I did all the "dirty work". My kids are now gradeschoolers and more independent with some tasks and able to do light chores, but it's still a daily grind for me and my husband. We haven't employed a housekeeper in over 2 years and somehow we manage to get by. It's just that the house is often messy. Haha.

The weekend was fine. I joined a circuit challenge and although I wasn't able to finish in the top ten, I learned a lot. Nice to see a fellow kababayan here in myLot! Mabuhay!!!

That is a very active weekend! That is great! Congrats to him on the run! Hope you have a great start to your week! There is still many hours left for Sunday, but the weekend has went well!
