Former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith, 28, was released by the San Francisco 49ers on Monday. Smith who was a second round draft choice of the Baltimore Ravens in the 2011 National Football League Draft out of Maryland played wide receiver with the Ravens from 2011-2014 before he signed a five year, $40 million dollar contract with the San Francisco 49ers on March 10, 2015. He did not live up to the expectations the 49ers during his two seasons with the team. Smith due to his young age should be able to land on his feet with another team in the National Football League quickly since another team will believe that he still has some gasoline left in his tank.

He has earned money so far and as you say, will get another team.

Me too since Torrey playing for a good football team will inspire him to be a better player since the 49ers are in a rebuilding mode.
