What are They Afraid of?

If you reveal truths of this world to people and they call them lies and figments of imagination, and eventually block you because they can't accept anything but their own narrow-minded views, what does that say about them as people? I have had a complicated extended past. It's filled with the supernatural and it has been a scary ride, but everything that has happened has been met with scrutiny and doubt as its going ons have been the greatest question. Are these things real? If they are, then that means everything they believe is false, and that scares them. So they tell me I make it up. Even those that see the truths for themselves say it was just coincidence. How many coincidences does it take for something to be believed? Sorry, person who doesn't believe the world could be different than the way they view it to be, but I've juggled with it for so long that it is indeed the truth, because I couldn't make up the past events that outline the future. So what are they afraid of if it isn't being wrong?

I was providing examples and things I can back up with actual events. They told me I was making it up. Even I know it's hard to believe stuff, but I'm not about to argue a story. I'm a story writer and will always admit when I tell stories because I seek opinions on them. I don't mix those with my life.

I believe in the supernatural and afterlife no matter what people say. There are people who have had experiences and I choose to believe them because they actually make sense. I'm not saying that there aren't fakers out there. Ofcourse there are. There are fakers everywhere. But your choices are all on you, aren't they?

@OneOfMany what exactly do you do to stay in balance?

@jesroash Well the road to get there was really difficult. I repressed anger for 8 years when I was getting bullied as a little kid, and it created the dark part of me. For another 8 years I was trying to release that anger but found that it had solidified inside me and whenever I used its 'power' I was corrupted more, so I pushed most of its energy outside my body (all over the world, in fact) and was able to retain some sanity that way. Gradually I released the chains I had used to seal it inside, and started to pull it back in over a long period of isolation. Finally, two years ago, I finished absorbing it all back inside, and unsealed it completely. After that I reabsorbed that evil essence into my body, and it merged with my normally pure self. A little less than a year ago I heard the message that I achieved balance, and it's true, because no matter how much dark energy I tried to use, I couldn't be corrupted by it. Now I utilize the energy for productive means, and my system just stays self-balanced. I don't really have to do anything to stay balanced, which is surprising. But everyone who knows me says that I have changed a lot compared to before, and wonder what I did. I doubt they'd understand if I told them the full story. Generally I avoid politics and religion if I can, because that gives me a lot of negative energy, and I have to use it up, and I do that in rage bursts. I just quickly get it out (when no one is around) and it dissipates. If it's against a person, I might rip them apart in a really blood way in my mind, and then I can forgive them afterwards (and they are completely fine in real life).

They are. Especially since I am a balance, it's very risky. If most religions are correct then I am most likely bound for eternal punishment, but if they are wrong, then nothing happens and I keep doing what I do naturally. But if I can help the world and people by being what I am now, and I can't if I only think of myself, then I will choose to help everyone all the same.

This goes to my favorite saying, "Everything Happens For A Reason..... God's Reason!" If people cannot believe and face reality, that is their problem. The best that you or anyone can do is tell them. Do not let yourself get stressed out because they don't. This remind's me about a friend on Facebook told us this morning that she had posted "Happy Sabbith" and 2 people blocked her! She also said that the only thing that she can guess is that maybe they just don't believe in Jesus. Oh well! She did her part by telling them, but for her to get upset about it will only cause her stress, which is not good.

@OneOfMany Well I am a christian and I feel that what I believe is correct as well anyone else of other beliefs do. We are humans and what and how we believe is between us humans and God. People should not be offended

It's just often that my experiences offend those that believe in god. They happen, and if it's for his reasons, it makes his followers really upset. And of course, they take it out on me. It's not like it's me who arranged it all.

I do believe in supernatural. I witnessed things infront of me and they have been like etched to my mind. And all this lasted for almost 5 years. 5 difficult years i would say. As you said when you tell those things to others they might not believe you but i experienced it and i know the truth. So if someone says that you are lying then just don't bother about them. Those people are either small minded or not enough mature yet

@OneOfMany Yes i know what's its like to be lonely. Unforntunately those people whom we like the best and are at ease with we tend to lose them. And the end reason is loneliness.

I often get unhappy with the new souls out there. Although I don't know all that many old souls, so I get lonely. The world used to be filled with them. Well, that was a long time ago.

@Nawsheen It certainly doesn't help to think so fondly of a world you knew growing up and realizing that it is beyond gone.

I always wonder why people fight so hard against someone thinking something they dont, why do we have to agree? You don't have to prove everything to me, I could think you are wrong, but don't feel the need to make a big deal about it

Well we reply to challenges. It starts with neutral conversation, but it turns bitter as soon as the other side completely picks a fight. I doubt you'd reply to a comment of mine with "Don't kid yourself, you know that's not true and are making it up." Before making up your mind that anything I say from that point onward is a lie.

One would like to think that facts could help negotiate with beliefs to get closer to truth, but for some, facts are an obstacle that they don't want to look at.

There's much that we don't know of in the world. To say that anything from a few thousand years ago holds all the answers is being really ignorant to the greater structure of the mystery that's out there. :)

@marguicha People like to be self-limiting. My biggest pet peeve in my engineering classes was when a professor told us something was 'impossible'. Do you know how many things we do today that were also impossible in the past? I was really angry with them over that.

@OneOfMany When it comes to faith it is just belief as much of it cannot be proved - my thinking

@allknowing Yet if you have enough faith you can affect the physical world. I misunderstood the quote "If you have enough faith (in Jesus or god, whatever) then you can move mountains." I thought it was faith in myself, and I moved mountains through that faith. It was after that, that I thought something was up with the way the world works.

Which is what led into the back and forth conversation when they said "don't kid yourself, none of what you just said is real." That is definitely imposing their approach of ignorance. Even if most of the population on Earth were to believe one thing, it doesn't make it true until it is proven.

Since I enjoy my encounters with the world beyond I have no more fears in this world. As long as I can be content in my own world where I live and since I don't have to deal with anything really awful then I am just fine.

That's a good way to be. If you can enjoy this world it's good too. I tend to be in the minority and really like this world. It may be full of painful memories, but it can always be made into a better place.

I think the people in question are so scared of being constantly exposed of their fallacy and their dark secrets. That's why they try so hard to demonize and delegitimize truth.

You never want to think you made a mistake in life, especially if you devoted have your life to it. People often ask me what I will do if I was wrong with my path. I told them that I was prepared. I chose what I thought was the correct path, but if I'm wrong then I would welcome it as a position against god himself if that's what it was. Why? Because I feel strongly enough on it that I'm right. In which case god himself would be wrong. But if he can't be wrong, then I guess I'm right after all! What good is a freedom of will if we can't use it to decide what we want to do with the lives we have? You can probably see why I get blocked. I'm dangerous. XD

@OneOfMany Wiser people learn from our many mistakes in the past. Those mistakes do have a lot to do with our present accountability to God and those whom we love in life. Also, people blocking dangerous people like you out of their lives don't know what they're missing out so much.

@everwonderwhy Besides, I don't see how it is wrong to want to preserve humanity into the distant future by shaping the planet today. Doing nothing and being narrowminded is like saying you don't care about the world you live in, and push the burdens from one generation onto the next. I don't see that as being responsible. That and I might have a pretty close relationship with god, but how would they know if they block me? :D

Ah - I have some experience with your conundrum. My dad spent the better part of his life trying to share various "truth" with people and all it got him was hated, enemies, and at the best - called a liar or crazy. I think it best to keep discussions with people, basic - everyday topics, unless they first show some interest... then you may have someone to discuss such topic with.

It's difficult, and if you are successful then you get 'oh it was a coincidence' as their justification. I bet you could fly and they'd claim it was a burst of wind. Sounds like your dad is someone that had some interesting experiences in the world. I like talking to those types.
