Los Angeles Dodgers left handed starting pitcher Scott Kazmir who left the Cactus League game versus the Colorado Rockies due to stiffness in his left hip had an MRI exam on Tuesday.
The results of the MRI exam on Tuesday that was performed by the trainers of the Dodgers came back negative which good news for Kazmir that he will not be spending time on the disabled list.
However Kazmir will be doing exercises to strengthen his left hip and lower body before he is allowed to make his next scheduled start for the defending National League West Division Champions.
Kazmir, 33, will be pitching in a bullpen session soon to determine when he will make his next starting pitching start.

The Dodgers have 4 pitchers vying for the last 2 starting spots and that doesn't count Ryu whom they are hopeful of being closer to pitching again.
