Are You A Father? You Should Read This

I found this the other day, looking through some of my journals that I have kept over the years. I had written it down. Not sure who to give credit to. I have to say I didn’t write it, but I thought it was worth sharing. F…You are my friend A…You are my ally T…You are my teacher H…You are my hero E…You are my example R…You are my rock I think this is a wonderful way to remember all the things that a GOOD father needs to be for his children. Your children look up to you and want to be like you, so all these roles you play are so important. I loved my father very much. And my mother, of course. They both taught me so much and set a good example for me. I could always depend on them if I needed help with anything and they showed their love for me in many ways. Fathers are VERY IMPORTANT to the emotional growth of their children. God wanted children to have BOTH a father and a mother. Sometimes, it doesn’t happen that way for some children, but if YOU are a father, you have a perfect opportunity NOW to be all those things that are mentioned above, to your children and it’s also your responsibility. Be a GOOD father to your children and you will be blessed by God. An old English proverb says: “Children are a poor man’s riches.” Rich or poor, your children should be your most treasured possession. You gave them life, so you can see that they have a happy life.
