Former San Diego Chargers running back Danny Woodhead has signed a three year contract with the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens will be his fourth team that Woodhead has played for in his career in the National Football League that began in 2008 as an undrafted free agent out of Chadron State by the New York Jets. Woodhead has been a running back for the Jets (2008-2010), New England Partiots (2010-2012) and the San Diego Chargers who are now the Los Angeles Chargers from 2013-2016 and now the Baltimore Ravens. Due to a four game suspension of Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon for illegal use of PEDs, Woodhead if he can stay healthy will be a welcome addition to the Ravens running attack in 2017.

Three year deal is nice but often don't mean anything as teams cut player contracts.
