Vegetarian vs Non Vegetarian

Vegetarian vs Non Vegetarian is a very old debate where Non Vegetarians seems winning with the time. If we see the historical trend, Non Vegetarians are increasing in numbers as well as in percentage over Vegetarians as Vegetarians are decreasing day by day. First of all I want to tell you that I am a Vegetarian and all my arguments will be in favor of Vegetarians only. Secondly I want to tell you that its a topic of discussion mainly applicable for India only as I do not know any other country where number of Vegetarians are significant. Please excuse me in advance if it hurts you. Non Vegetarians First Argument : If we do not eat them, they will increase heavily in numbers One day I was driving with my friend on a highway. We were debating on the same topic of Vegetarian vs Non Vegetarian. He was Non Vegetarian. He Gave me this argument that " If we do not eat them, they will increase heavily in numbers". I had heard this before also as Non Vegetarians main argument. I immediately responded him with due respect "Mr. as far as I know in last 70 years after independence at least, which is a history well documented by Indians, North Indians do not eat donkeys. So with your logic we should see donkeys all over highway and it would have been difficult for us to drive, but it is no so, so your argument is wrong". He is still finding answer to argument me further. Non Vegetarians Second Argument : We are given Canine Teeth to tear of meat My simple reply to them, Sir, go check in mirror, your canine teeth are reduced heavily with the time. Now they are reduced to a size to tear bread only. If you are still proud of your canine teeth, try eating raw meat with them as animals do with their canine teeth. You will come to know reality. If still not convinced you are most welcome to go to forest and join animals and do your delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am sure animals there are also waiting to see whose canine teeth are better. Non Vegetarians Third Argument : We are farming them so we have right to kill and eat them In a sense we have farmed our children too. Just go and check with authorities if you have right to kill them. Give them the same argument. Non Vegetarians Fourth Argument : Even Milk is Non Veg then why we Vegetarians drink it I want to tell you against this argument that milk is a product derived from animals without killing them, just like wool is derived from sheep without killing them. Non Vegetarians Fifth Argument : Even Plants have life so why do Vegetarians kills them to eat. My dear friend, I agree with you, we are killing plants to satisfy our hunger, so we are called vegetarians. Animal eaters are called Non Vegetarians. This debate it between Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians and not between eaters and not eaters. We have to eat something to live and at least we do not kill something for our taste which is full of blood, which cries, which tries to escape in the same way as we humans do. Plants are a different type of life altogether. I know you will not buy this argument of mine, but I sincerely accept that I do not have anything better then this to offer at this time. Non Vegetarians Sixth Argument : Even Lord Rama and our ancestors were Non Vegetarian I have heard them saying that after Ashwamedh Yagya, horse meat was distributed as Prasad. First I want to tell you that its a base less story made to support your argument only. Secondly What if our Lord or our ancestors used to eat meat. That does not stops me in applying my own mind of good and bad. There are thousands of things which our ancestors used to do but we are not doing today. They used to wear dhotis but we are wearing pants, so are we wrong or they were wrong? Egg is Not Non Veg You will find the right answer by yourself by asking one question to yourself, whether deliberate abortion is a murder or not. If you feel deliberate abortion is a murder then eating egg is as good as eating Non Veg. If you think deliberate abortion is not a murder then for your satisfaction you can treat eating eggs as eating Veg. My Two Words I do not know about other religions, but here in this post I am arguing only with Hindus. In our religion of Hinduism we take bath after coming back from cemetery even if we have not touched the dead body. We vomit if only a hair goes in our throat. How can we go against these basics? How can we make a living animal dead to take its dead body inside our mouth? If eating Non veg is right then why we refrain from eating it on Tuesdays and on Navrati. But unfortunately day by day people are becoming Non Vegetarian. Effect of Kaliyuga is increasing.
Sir, go check in mirror, your canine teeth are reduced heavily with the time. Now they are of size to tear of bread only. If you are still proud of your canine teeth, try eating raw meat with them as animals do with their canine teeth. You will come to kno
