Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III, who was released by the Browns on Friday will be searching for work with the New York Jets who are in need of a starting quarterback. The Jets current quarterbacks on their roster are Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg. Griffin feels that the Jets could use his services as their starting quarterback in 2017. There is one catch. Griffin only played in five football games for the Browns in the 2016 football season due to a concussion and a shoulder injury that limited his body of work with the team. The Jets can pursue free agent quarterbacks Nick Foles, Colin Kaepernick and Josh McCown ahead of Griffin to try out for the starting quarterback position in 2017.

I remember when RGIII was a big deal. Some heavy names on the QB market.
