Ebay offers cheap products but when you add the cost of postage it can work out more than you would have paid in a store

Do you think the shipping charges are reasonable ? I don't think so .

this depends, certain sites such as ebay often have prices more expensive than stores, when you compare postage prices and the final value. most people think they are getting a bargain which means they pay more than they would if they looked at shops. but you do also find some cheaper items which can save you several pounds

But once I campared the price of Digicams of different brands as offered at ebay and the local stores in my city . I found ebay price much less . However I could not buy due to high price even on ebay.

the key is to check out online stores and retail stores first and then remember those prices and check on the auction sites to try and get the item for less

I think that you pay more for hot items that are really hard to get. I think that if you look hard enough, you can find a better deal shopping.. but if you don't have time to do that.. auctions could be the way to go.

i guess it all depends on the product and how popular that product is.i mean say you have a 1000$ diamond ring with the opening bid at 1$ and now everyione would try and get that ring dirt cheap.as everyone bids and the price goes up,there are times when the price may even go upas high as the original value[here 1000$] or even higher. like the piccaso, monet and stuff like that. so auctions can be cheaper but they can also turn costly.
