Doctors, especially, an Ayurvedic and Yunani Doctors advise taking Almonds. It is one of their primary recommendations for many health problems. and gives strong muscles and improves memory power among children.
No doubt, Almonds are good for health and it is one of the best dry fruits in most of the Arab and Asian countries.
The way Almonds are taken is peculiar than eating other dry fruits. Almonds build up strength in the nerves. They also provide strong muscles. One will be surprised how the same dry fruits can work both ways. This happens when it is taken differently.
When Almond is eaten chewing it in the mouth it gets digested and gives strength to muscles. But, the same Almond when it is rubbed against a rough surface and the paste is kept under the tongue it provides the energy to the nerves and makes them very strong. It also improves the memory power.
This is the technique which I learned from an Arab friend. This technique serves nicely in the weight loss. also.
The another interesting things are that the Almonds are soaked in water overnight to chew them easily as they will be soft. They can be digested easily by soaking them overnight in the water.
If we do not soak them in water, the outer layer of Almond which contains a particular enzyme can not be digested easily and the body can not make use of the nutrients it is supposed to be provided.
The antioxidants are richly available in Almonds. The Vitamin E present in Almonds effectively prevents aging and inflammation. They also maintain the level of blood pressure.
