Summer

After a long wait it seems summer is finally here. Philippines is just a few degrees above the equator and here it comes. Blazing, hot sun on a clear, blue sky, warm winds and the mud disappearing within only a few hours of intense heat. Maybe, it is not going to miss the season altogether. It is just a little bit late for this time of the year. I am quite skeptical about it with the clouds still forming up on the horizon but the sun managed to break free for two days in a row since Monday. Could it be happening elsewhere or the temperature still down low?

I can't, no thanks. It burns my skin, hurts my eyes, but at least it dries laundries and grains for milling. Dries the fields where I enjoy roaming too.

I was thinking everyone likes summer, the sun, the heat. Now I know there's one like me that really hate the heat especially during the night.
