Amazon’s Number One Bestseller–Books–Reasons To Vote For Democrats

You know when you hear about a number one bestselling book on the news there is something special about it. Something no other book has. Something that makes it newsworthy.
Reasons to Vote for Democrats, A Comprehensive Guide by Michael J. Knowles is Amazon’s number one bestseller. At the time of this writing the book is rated 4.6 stars out of 5 stars.
There are several good reviews on the book. The author claims he did exhaustive research. The price of the paperback on Amazon is $6.23. (There are some new copies for $2.00.)
Now comes the questions, why was there a news report on this bestseller? Why is this bestseller so inexpensive? What does it contain that so many people want to read?
I can answer all three questions with one sentence. The pages are mostly blank. There is a table of contents. Each chapter has a title but every page thereafter is blank.
The news report said it was actually supposed to be a joke. But it is now Amazon’s number one bestseller.

@RichardMeister I know what you mean - it's rather insulting really. But wow, I'm surprised the Republican one isn't the bestseller - I haven't seen that one either - but maybe that one isn't designed as well.

@much2say It may not be as well designed. Or it could be one of two other things, 1) There are more Republicans than Democrats or, 2) Democrats are much smarter than to buy a book full of blank pages.

Yes, but I don't think it's very funny to many Democrats because it is basically saying there are no reasons to vote for a Democrat. I read an article that stated there is another book out (by someone else) that is the same thing about Republicans but it is nowhere near a bestseller.

I heard about this from inside Amazon. A lot of authors were annoyed because they thought it might be taking from their sales being a joke book that got attention. I'm okay with it. It's up to people to buy what they want. It would be nice if they bought my books, but whatever, I'm sure they will one day! :D

People buy what they want to buy. All of us who have had books published wish our books would end up on the bestseller's list.

@RichardMeister The highest ranking I've had to date was #10,800. And that was only for an hour! I have a feeling it will take a lot of following to get higher.
