Blogging is more of promoting rather than writing

For bloggers who would like to gain traffic on their blog, promoting their blog posts to different social network sites is a must. I have been blogging since last year and that was one of those things I realized. I promote more of my contents than write. At present, I am most active in Facebook community of bloggers. They said that pinterest is also one of the best ways to gain traffic in one's blog but still don't understand it much.
Are you blogging? What social network sites do you use the most to promote your contents?

@Meramar Sometimes blogging is therapeutic and sometimes not. Haha! I hope you can finally come up with your own blog.

create a board (album or group or page on Facebook) name it i.e. Nature Photography, FoodPorn, etc and select board FoodPorn if you are sharing pinoy recipes of course

@AkoPinay I am not sure if what I am doing in Pinterest is correct. Are you active in Pinterest?
