I already have a TRACFONE but can I buy a Samsung Galaxy and use my current TRACFONE service?

The Tracfone works for me, but not everybody. I already use a flip-phone that has internet access and all I pay is 23.00 for a 60 minute phone card that must be renewed every 90 days in order to keep my old and unused minutes and add more to them with my new 60 minutes phone card. The phone didn't cost me much either. But it has severe limitations. It is perfect for making phone calls but when it comes to texting online, social media, Facebook and using apps, it's a dud. So I really want to know if I can use my TRACFONE services on a new Galaxy phone and just pay for minutes, not sign up with a one or two year mandatory contract and have to pay upwards of 60 dollars to one hundred per month even though this would include using the cloud and having access to free roaming and e-pay features and scan abilities that are provided to users of the Galaxy and the iPhone? I am aware of the few mobile phone offers in my area such as: 1. Cricket Wireless Services 2. Boost Mobile Wireless Services 3. Verizon Wireless Services 4. Sprint Mobile Wireless Services I guess there are many more but these are the ones most familiar to me. They usually cost little to sign up and get a new smart phone that may be worth upwards of 500 or 600 dollars new, but it's the contract you must sign and the monthly charges that make having a new cell phone service like buying or renting a new automobile. This is a very serious purchase that will have financial ramifications to everyone from the very poor to the ultra rich and the middle class groups. They all want a mobile phone. The thing is, are you and I getting the best deal for our bucks?

It seems you should be able to do what you want to do. If you don't get the right answer from the first person, talk to someone else.
