Filming began this morning for a new CBS reality series in which celebrities will serve as reserve Muncie police officers. A film crew began shooting the celebrities outside of Muncie City Hall late this morning. A limousine was parked outside of City Hall, perhaps serving as an intro prop for the series. The stars involved in the series are former television cop Erik Estrada, Jack Osbourne (son of rock star Ozzy Osbourne), former pro wrestler Trish Stratus, Jackass dwarf star Jason "Wee Man Acuna and music artist LaToya Jackson. The Star Press confirmed Saturday that the stars and film crew will be staying at the closed Roberts Hotel. That was from www.thestarpress.com you can go there to find out more. I can not believe that the town agreed to this. Without input from the people of our city. This could be good for Muncie, Indiana but it could be really bad. I hope they can expose the corruption though, that would be good for the citzens of Muncie.

Wow, I'm surprised people aren't star struck, but that's a funny concept for a show. Maybe it'll be similar to Reno 911 or maybe like you said, they'll be able to expose the corruption that might be obvious to everyone. I wouldn't be upset about it though. I'm sure that regular officers will always be available.

Thats my point most of our officers are just like the ones on Reno 911. Someone tried to kidnap my daughter, and we got the license plate number, the kid that did it is the nephew of a cop, and his aunt works for the DA. Guess what happened, nothing because this town is a corrupt town, with its officals. Now most of the people here are really good kind hearted people, but we don't have a police force that protects us here.
