Free agent defensive back Brandon Carr has signed a four year, $24 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. Carr who was a fifth round draft choice of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2008 National Football League Draft out of Grand Valley State will be playing football for his third football team in ten seasons. Carr was a defensive back for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2008-2011 and the Dallas Cowboys from 2012-2015. The Cowboys after the 2016 football season wanted to renew the contract of Carr despite his below average performance as a defensive back with the team during his five years there. The Ravens will be needing his services since they are in need of a veteran defensive back like Carr who would provide leadership with the team in 2017.
