I thought that Robert Downey, Jr. did a fabulous job playing the role of Charlie Chaplin. I enjoyed that movie. He was very believable. I came across this tidbit of information today that I thought was very interesting. Did you know that Charlie Chaplin once lost a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest? I’m going to try to find out more about this. It seems so crazy that it could happen. The man who won the contest was judged to look more like Charlie Chaplin than the real Charlie Chaplin. How strange!! There are some persons who really DO look like another person. Today, they call them doppelgangers, although the true meaning of that word is a little different. I was once told that I looked like another person who lived not that far from me. I always wanted to meet this person but never did. Have you ever been told that you look like someone else?
