There is such a thing as courtesy...

Last Friday I went to an interview for a job that I really needed. The interview was somewhat daunting, but when I left, I still felt I had a chance at the job. I was informed that they will contact me before the end of today to let me know if I got the job or not. I have received no call, no email or no message at all. Another unpleasant weekend ahead of me because of not knowing. There is something like courtesy, isn't there? Or perhaps people just don't care anymore.

even if they hadn't made a decision yet, they could at least tell you that! So rude.

It's 2 weeks later and still nothing. The contact person is also never available. Very rude.

@paljas It's so irritating when you get no news about a job interview. If they aren't going to give it to you they should at least day so. Surely they must know how anxious a time it is for applicants.

They should have contacted you when they said they would.
