NEO stands for Near Earth Objects. These are a clear and present threat to life on Earth right here and right now. Those who are engaged into creating spacecraft to look out for rogue asteroids called Asteroid Hunters, are working around the clock without fail, to create the types of space craft that even MIT graduates admit, is a major effort that must be met before times runs out. Its never a matter of IF, but of being prepared for the worst, such as NEO impact to Earth by one of the thousands of asteroids that may eventually be large enough and hit hard enough. Being prepared in advance is based on knowing where the risks lie, based on trajectories and origins. Keeping watch on the skies at night will prove to be the leading factor in Earth's survival from Deep Impact of a rogue asteroid, the size of a bus, a house or perhaps a mountain on a collision course with Earth.
