Shopping In January

Back in January, I decided to make a budget for yarn shopping. I stuck pretty close to the amount I planned to spend. I went to Joanne's Fabrics & Crafts and Hobby Lobby and, in total, I bought 35 skeins of yarn. Most of the yarn I will be using to make shawls and scarves with. They are good to use indoors where the air conditioning can be quite chilly. Another kind of yarn I bought can be used to make scrubbies and dish cloths. In the photo above, with the yarn that is across the top and down the right side, I have made 4 shawls and one scarf. At the bottom left is the scrubbie yarn I will use to make dish cloths and scrubbies.
