So, what is your take of death?

I know people who doesn't fear death at all as they believe they are saved and ready for an eternal life after death; I know people who fear death as they are not sure if they are ready and/or saved; I know people who don't care as they believe there is nothing after death.
Personally, I am not 100% sure myself. I was close to death last year and it kind of forced me to become more spiritual. At the same time, I am confused by all the different religions and opinions.
Any thoughts?

I'm more... of a follower of Omnism these days. I find bits of truth in so many religions, I would have issues following any one. I will link a page on it below.
Anyways, I also believe in reincarnation.

Omnism has always been a tricky term for me as the definition includes both "believe in" and "respect". I always have and always will respect other people's religions, but I do not believe in the religions. At the moment I believe the Bible and hence I believe in God. I do not consider myself to be religious.

@Paljas honestly, respect is the most important thing, and I don't believe in everything, just that there are often grains of truth in most religions, I believe many gods exist, and since I do believe that, I find it difficult to know who to worship. Even the Bible, says to "have no other God's before me", which insinuates there are other gods out there, but just that one isn't to worship them

@Jessicalynnt Exactly. Another important thing for me is that the bible says that even if you have strong faith, but do not love others, you are nothing. All I am going to say is: look around you. How much love do you really see in this world? Just look at all the "isms" around us! I think I will rather take my chance with God & love!
