Former New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith signed a one year, $2 million dollar contract with the New York Giants on Monday. Smith played four seasons with the New York Jets before a right knee injury during the month of October ended his season and his time with the team. Smith will be the backup quarterback behind Eli Manning, 36, for the 2017 regular football season. Many football experts are saying that Smith working with Manning this football season and playing for a Super Bowl contender will revive his career that was marred by injuries during his tenure with the Jets after he had a very good rookie season.
