@dlr297 "Court cases happen all the time in business." Of course. I take issue with 1450 cases being "not a lot." Imagine the lawyer's kids he's put through college!
USA Today has an article with more detail and a time frame. They claim a total 4095 suits over 30 years, both as plaintiff and as defendant. That's less than three days between suits. That's "a lot" by anyone's standards.
He's put whole towns of lawyers' kids through college.

@msiduri This is all over 30 Years.....Out of the 4095 listed..... Over 30 years for all the different businesses he has i am very surprised it is not much higher than that....I would have guessed it would be into the Hundreds of thousands....
Things he brought suit against others for......45 cases for not receiving his money for branding rights..1,697 from cases he filed from his casinos involving ...like people with credit that did not pay, and entertainers that did not perform...Some of the cases are divorce related.
700 of them were personal injury suits of people that got injured at one of his properties..and over 140 of them were dismissed, and 40 others that were closed before court....
What do you expect,,,,,,,,,

@mythociate I can see where we'll have to agree to disagree because to me someone who says there were "very fine people" among the Nazis and white supremacists and who refuses to say to the David Dukes of the world that he doesn't want their support is probably beyond a "sympathizer". He's a horrid, dangerous little man.

@anniepa I guess I enjoy the 'sometimes it takes a bad guy to do the best good'-productions (LEVERAGE, Robin Hood, etc.) He's not a President who'll "make sure justice is done for all the good, agreeable groups." He didn't say that he would be.

His electorate should like him. Slovenians also like him. According to the Internet news and commentaries some Bulgarians like him too. Many ex-Yugoslavian citizens likely Slovenians like him too. Also I read many blogs posts where he is considered as effective politician. Some of the authors are from India and other countries.
