How can you write a Healthcare Insurance bill when you don't understand insurance? Trump wants to eliminate pregnancy coverage, saying that some people don't get pregnant so they shouldn't have to pay for it. Women pay for prostate treatments and for erectile dysfunction but clearly they don't need that. I doubt that Trump's plan will eliminate covering those. The Trump Administration is clearly penalizing women! I provide a link for an article, if it doesn't work, google my headline. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/trump-maternity-coverage_us_58c84f0ce4b022994fa2dd41?section=politics
Before Obamacare, women often couldn't get health care coverage if they were pregnant or may become pregnant.

This is exactly why people shouldn't allow the government to get involved with what is not specifically authorized and allowed by the Constitution. The Founding Fathers were quite clear in that the government should have specific, limited and enumerated powers, and that's it. Because people allowed the government to rule with impunity (when their favorites or party leaders were in power) and gave undue power when they thought it suited their needs, suddenly they're not so happy when a new administration and lot of people in power come in with the same power allotted the prior administration, and they're not happy. But what should be obvious is that the government has the power allowed and offered, forever and ever. Women (or, to be specific, anyone) should never have to pay for a plan for health insurance, car insurance, or the warranty on the stove if they don't want it. So, you're correct in that women shouldn't pay for issues or concerns not applicable to their situation. But they shouldn't have to pay for ANYTHING they don't want. But guess what? Everyone allowed the government to get into business that isn't theirs, not to staunch opposition but to thunderous applause. Everyone wanted to fellate Obama when this unconstitutional wreckage went into effect, but curiously dismissed that his administration wouldn't be in effect until the end of time. The Constitution is more than clear. The ACLU is passionate in supporting the first amendment. The NRA is passionate in supporting the second amendment. But everyone took their eye off the ball when your government deliberately dismissed your constitutional rights by eliminating the tenth amendment, which, by the way, was the bedrock supporting every single right you have as an american citizen. Everyone simpered in their cereal when they were worried their various rights were in jeopardy, but the one right that solidified all the others was allowed to be trashed and nobody cared. The tenth amendment is clear. That which is not allowed by the constitution is not within the powers of the federal government, but goes to the states or the people. You can easily peruse the constitution to see if healthcare is in there somewhere, but I can assure you it is not. Further, if this went away from the federal powers and was given to the states, rendering it no longer ObamaCare or TrumpCare, but became New Jersey Care or FloridaCare, or HawaiiCare, the various states would work out what is best for them and their citizens rather than your Big Brother demanding you accept their one-size-fits-all system you must buy or they'll swoop in and take the payment, even if you don't like it. But that isn't how it's going to work out because everyone fell asleep at the wheel when they were dazzled by Obama's charm. Now, your rights are gone and you don't have a say anymore. So, take comfort in the idea that, as yet, the government isn't demanding you accept a prostate even if you don't want or need one. But when they do, get in line and pick one to your liking because when people allow their rights to disappear, they don't get to change their minds and make them reappear again.

Obamacare benefits Pregnant women and required that insurance companies can not deny new policies to people with pre-existing conditions. Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act) benefits the American people not the insurance companies. Obamacare isn't perfect, the Republicans watered it down quite a bit and are now whining about the flaws that they wrote. I'm willing to bet that the Trump plan doesn't have a pre existing condition clause. Trumps plan only benefits the wealthy!

@flpoolbum I'm sticking to my point. The government never does anything right. Ever. Further, how would anyone think it makes sense to stick it to the companies ultimately providing the coverage and benefits? The government and these insurance companies have been in bed with one another all along! Again, you want this to work better, stick to the law of the land (the Constitution) and put this into the hands of the states if the government must, must, must be involved? (How do we tie our shoes without the government?) If it goes to the states, those states who goof it up will lose citizens to the better run states. Beyond that, what might work well for Florida residents may not work as well for those in Colorado. Oh, and Trump's plan doesn't benefit anyone. The crying about the wealthy went obsolete with the vacuum tube.
