Is there any really good writers reading this post?

Need your help and professional advice. I was writing essays before, but it's my first experience with book writing. Where do I start? What nuances should I consider?

Your first step is to determine what you are writing. What kind of story are you interested in? Or are you writing nonfiction?

I write nonfiction for adults and tales for children. But it seems that I write better for adults than for children. At least for now

@yume171 Then your next path is what you intend to write for adults. Generally you will fall into a category at this point. Nonfiction is pretty easy to categorize. What type of nonfiction writing do you want to do?

@OneOfMany So far, I'm best able to write short stories. My observations about places, feelings, people.

Many successful novelists start by developing the skills to write good short stories and then progress from there to writing something longer.

Everyone on Mylot is one word away from a Nobel Prize for Literature And you should say "Are there any good writers..."
