Get the mouse out of your car

i was shock when i found out that there's a rat under the hood of my car. It was alarming because I've already experienced to cut the cable engine of my car. What is the remedy to stay a rat of my car?

There might be a food source nearby, you will need to find and eliminate that.

Rats have cut cables in my motorcycle thrice. Now, I keep a mousetrap near the motorcycle whenever I smell a rat.
