In Case You Got a Call from TeamViewer, Helped Them Access Your Computer, & Now You're Suspicious.

I got a telephone-call today; the caller-I.D. said "Massachusetts ..." & ... well, it wasn't 'private caller' or something, so I answered it. The guy told me he was Windows Customer Service, and they had gotten some notes that said I was being hacked. He gave me instructions to see if I needed maintanence (something like "Ctrl + r, open file eventvwr, etc." There were 30,000+ 'errors' listed, so he had me open a webpage, download something, and give him the username & password that the webpage gave me. That "let him take control of my computer," and I went to dinner while he did whatever on my computer. I don't move my main money online, so the info on my computer won't let anyone "steal all my money." But if they manage to get into your computer (and your information is 'more sensitive' ) the site gives you instructions on how to cut `em off!
