I used to do a headstand

Since I know there are many benefits of headstand, I tried to do it again but to no avail. I felt I was unable to lift my legs let alone straight them up. So, I tried to adjust my arm strength step by step. Another method of doing a headstand quickly is to use a wall. So, I began doing it with my back facing the wall and raised the leg up on the wall. I don't know how much longer until I can do it like I used to.

If you can´t do it now don´t despair.
You probably need to go very slowly and I would not force that one as the neck is very fragile.
What about doing wall squats?
You know that exercise at the moment I just do a couple of squats a day and I try to remember to build it up but its hard to keep a routine going.
You can build your muscle but bit by bit and Rome was never built in a day.
I recovered the movement back in my right shoulder and it took a lot of tears and pain but its well worth it.

Wall squat? Well, never do it. I'm gonna give it a go, then. Thank for info.

If you do the hang on a minute, I think its called the qigong way you are supposed to open up the main energy centre in the body or something like that and move the energy.
I often do that if I get up feeling yuk and feel much better after I find it relaxes me for some reason.
I also do a few things the Ice Skaters do when they warm up and like the Athletes do to loosen up.
Only wish I could stick to a routine it would benefit me enormously.

But headstand is not for all conditions. Those with highblood pressure are not allowed to do it as headstand position raises the blood pressure.

At least your neck and arms will be stronger and possibly good blood circulation.
