Does society mold us to have unrealistic expectations?

Ever since I was young I've wanted the same big houses, financial stability and deep romantic relationships that I would see on television. Now when I look back on my life I feel betrayed. Does society mold us to have unrealistic expectations?

No..we should learn to mold the society. We are not sincere to make our dreams come true.

I think it inspires us to chase what is the ideal things that may happen in our lives.
