What kind of Rally would you Plan?

If you had to plan a rally, what would it be about? Would you be standing for something or against something? If I lead a rally it would be against How Big Name Supermarkets throw hundreds of pounds of perfectly good groceries into the dumpster. The groceries are either a tiny bit discolored, deformed, or a little closer to the expiration date than they deem profitable for them. Instead of throwing all of this away, they can actually give it away. Some things I will never understand. I guess if they filled everyone's fridge for free, no one would have to shop at the supermarket. Capitalism sucks sometimes.

I would plan a strike! Wait for both houses of Congress to be in session then have everyone except essential personnel stay home for at least one day. Those jerks in Congress could not get a sandwich made, couldn't go anywhere unless they drove themselves, could not mail a letter or get a taxi. They could not fly to another country to play golf at taxpayers' expense or rent a hotel room in order to cheat on their spouse or other even more outrageous perversions. Even the lobbyists couldn't get cash from an ATM to bribe senators. I would do this to remind those jackwagons who they actually work for and what power we have. Then I would demand they vote to limit their offices to one term or the strike would be extended.

Well I can't say that I disagree. I just believe that they know something that we don't know at this point but either way I think that both parties are becoming obsolete. Either that or they are in cahoots with one another. I do very much like the ATM idea. I've always wondered how a national strike of that magnitude would pan out. .My only fear is that they would prove to us once and for all that the system is so fake that they never needed us to keep it going. Then that would be a whole other ball game.

You can thank governmental regulations for a lot of that. I asked my local store why they threw away so much food and they told me they aren't allowed to donate it because someone may get sick from it. They cannot even give away slightly stale bread and donuts to the homeless shelters. It's not capitalism that sucks, it's governmental regulations on the local, state, and federal level.
