On how to get knot's out of your hair. My hair is long and it get's so knotted up, that while I brush it out sometimes I cry.

I use detangling spray that is made for kids! It works really well, you just have to spray A LOT of it on your hair =)

I would say use a better conditioning product. Brush your hair more often - especially before you wash it! I also have long hair - and a good conditioner keeps it tangle free. It makes it easier to detangle those painful knots. GOod luck!

Depending on the texture of you hair and if it is oily or not you could try conditioning with olive oil. It is wondeful for you hair and really helps keep it silky and shiny. Another thing that is good for shine is doing a white vinagar rinse once a week, it rinses out product build up.

Wet your hair. Use a comb and comb the knots out from the bottom up a little at a time. Don't use a brush and try to do it all at once if it hurts. Hold a little bit of hair in your hand so it won't pull from the roots and comb out the bottom knots then work up, always holding it as you comb so it won't pull from your scalp.

I would have it trimmed to get the split ends off. That will help it. But long hair is fun to brush out. I also use a flat iron to keep it from being wavey. It really helps me.

I love my hair and try to keep it healthy. Although I do dye it. I don't have split end's so that help's and also I try to keep it in a braid or up in a pony tail, unless I am going out at night, then I leave it down and looking nice.

Make sure to use CONDITIONER everyday or every time you take a shower. Use something with herbals and natural ingredients - coconut oil is proven to make your hair shiny any healthy. This works for me cause HONESTLY I don't have to comb my hair... it never knott up on me. Sometimes I just use my hand to detangled it and never use blow dry. It makes your hair DRY.

Start at the ends and work your way up gently.
