A lot of stir is floating around these days on social media, radio, television and print all about sending persons which committed heinous crimes to the death row. The Philippines has done away with it sometime ago but it is being taken up by the lawmakers for consideration. Advocates and those who are opposed to it are in a clash whether to re-institute it or not. The question remains: could it really solve, eradicate, mitigate or curb heinous criminals? Do countries with capital punishment gets a lower crime index due to it? Who benefits it most?
