dear mylotters
i need a help i really dont know what to do with my cousin,
i have a cousin and she has a problem she has many debts in the bank because of buying many things.
she is not paying it buy cash but she pays via credit card.
she has 2 children in the philippines and she is in abroad she doesn´t send money to her children.
she sometimes approach me, and ask me if i have a money because she cannot pay her bank and the interest is getting bigger and bigger i tried to talk to her to sell everything and not to buy some things that not useful. but she never listen. i dont know what to do anymore

Just don't give her money or let her see that it bothers you because she knows that she will be able to get it out if you.

I dont lend her money anymore because she need to learn from her mistake

She will automatically learn her lesson when the banks sue her for collection of money. If you really want to help, you can send money directly to her children without her knowing it.

Hello! The problem is not with the kids because she never send money for her kids because there is the grandmother who support them. I just pitty my cousin and she never listen to me

try to avoid lending her money. but if you do out of pity, lend only what you can afford to lose because it looks like it will take a long time to repay you.
what about her husband, parents, siblings, in-laws here in the philippines? can they not help her sell those things to generate funds?

I already avoid to lend her money so she can learn from her mistakes. She doesnt have a husband she is a single mother and she is not sending money in the Philippines.

The only thing she can do for herself is to cut her credit card in half and never use it again. But it is easier to say then done.
You can't keep giving her money because she will keep asking for more. Why don't you tell her to sell things that she doesn't need any more and use whatever she gets to pay for her debt? Goodluck.
