What Is Something That You Worry About?

I have found that as I get older, I worry more about my family members. I don’t like to worry and I know that worrying doesn’t keep something from happening. So, worrying is a waste of time, but I still do it for some reason. I think, as a person gets older, worrying is connected to the realization that we can actually die. So, we are more aware of our mortality. As a young person, I don’t remember worrying about much of anything. I was very active and ready to try just about everything, when it came to activities. I learned to skate and ski and ride horses and swim and I didn’t think about the fact that I could get hurt. When I see my grandchildren skate boarding and jumping on the trampoline, I’m always afraid someone is going to get hurt. I have flown all over the world and was never afraid of flying, but now, when I know that my children are traveling by air, I’m always thinking about what can happen to them, if the plane goes down. I am always so relieved when they call me and tell me they have arrived safely at their destination. Do you worry about things like that? OR something else? This world is a dangerous place anymore. So, there are many situations that can cause us to worry about the safety of our family members.

I am always worrying about my child. She is a little dare devil! I worry about my finances, if my little girl is safe when she is not in my sight, because you can't trust anyone anymore. Seems there is always something on my mind to worry about. Maybe I am just a natural worrier! Lol!

I like to worry about very unlikely things, such as being taken away by space aliens, that way I don't have to spend much time on it!
