New Orleans Saints sign QB Chase Daniel to a one year contract

Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Chase Daniel who was released by the team on March 13, 2017 has signed a one year contract with the New Orleans Saints on Thursday.
Daniel will be competing with Luke McCown as the second string quarterback of the Saints who will have Drew Brees as their starting quarterback barring any injuries when the regular football season begins later this year.
Daniel, 30, after he was released was hoping to land on his feet and be a starting quarterback once again but that did not happen when he signed his one year contract with the Saints.
