A Friend in Need

My best friend's boyfriend was in a very bad car wreck this afternoon. He was hit head-on by a minivan where the driver fell asleep while driving. The man driving the minivan is okay. He just had a few minor cuts and bruises. My friend's boyfriend broke his elbow, had a deep cut in the back of his head, and a lot of scratches and bruises. He was life flighted to a hospital that is very very very good and well known for their surgeries. He had stitches put in when he got there for the cut in the back of his head and he is going into surgery tomorrow morning to put in a plate and some screws for his elbow. His parents, sister, and girlfriend are all holding together pretty well. My friend, his family, and I would appreciate any positive and supportive thoughts for him and his surgery

Thank you. They are very grateful that he isn't as hurt as he could be. He is conscious and responsive. They took his neckbrace off and he is eating.

I wish him the best, Just imagine though, the man who caused the accident escaped with minor injuries - so unfair.

It is unfair, but we are glad that it wasn't worse than it was. They are both still alive and that is what matters.

I wish he become better so soon, she needs you with her, support plays big role in healting faster, and people has to stop being stubborn and drive while sleepy
