Hey everyone, appears it has almost been a week since I have been here to post a new song. Anyways, here I am on to song 46! The song is titled Song 2 by Blur. They formed in London, the UK, in 1988, and are currently active, though had a brief hiatus between 2003 and 2008. This particular song, has noted to have garnered success all over, including quite a bit in the US, but an interesting fact about Blur is that they were rivals with Oasis in the charts (in the UK) with the Britpop genre, therefore which established the "Battle of Britpop." Hope you all enjoy the song (for those who have not heard before!) (some info verified through Wikipedia)

@minx267 Ooh ok cool! Grunge and 90's alternative is pretty much my favourite music really, and usually they bunch it in together as one genre or whatever. But good on ya for knowing this song. What is your favourite grunge band?

I haven't heard Blur in ages. I remember that "feud" with Oasis.

Good ol' Blur, eh? :) I certainly prefer Blur to Oasis, but I do not mind me some Wonderwall! Hah.

@mawdest Liam and Noel spent more fighting each other than Blur.

Love it! The Avalanche play it during lull's in the action to fire up the crowd.

Hooray, a fan :) Oh really? That's great! I do seem to hear it at some hockey games, I have been noticing (on TV) just like I seem to hear a lot of certain songs in rotation.. Machinehead by Bush is one that comes to mind just off the top of my mind, for example.

@mawdest - "Machinehead" gets played a lot, too. It's that guitar riff.
