There. It's out in the open now. I blame Lilian Jackson Braun and her upper Michigan The Cat Who books. She's who got me started. Honestly, I don't think I missed a single Qwilleran book. Lately, I've been reading Miranda James. I really enjoy The Cat in the Stacks series. Granted, it combines a librarian and a cat, so I'm in Heaven right off. Another librarian and her cats series I read through recently is Sofie Kelly's Magical Cats. I found them very entertaining, though I admit I found it tiresome to have the main character have to be rescued by her love interest in pretty much every book. Anyhoo, cozy cat mysteries are a comfy place for me to disappear. What sort of books do you read for sheer pleasure and relaxation?

Meow from Huckleberry the Cat, Kitty Blogger I need to get my mama to take me to the library. Cat mysteries sound like fun.

I've never heard of cozy cat mysteries, but they sound fun to read. I'm the type of person who reads just about anything as long as the story's good.

I went to my local library and plugged "cozy cat mystery" into the search engine and was amazed at how many appeared. There are still more for me to get to eventually too.

I have read many of Lillian Jackson Braun. My favorite author I have always enjoyed and still read a lot of, is Debbie Macomber. Used to read a lot of Danielle Steele.

I have read Lilian Jackson Braun whom I believe has passed away. The guy with the funny moustache in the small town.

Jim Qwilleran, newspaper writer who inherited a billion bucks. That's the one.
