National Crayon day

As I understand it today is "National Crayon Day". I buy crayons for myself and my granddaughter's. I mostly get colored pencils for myself to color in my adult color books and doing other crafts. I used to buy a lot of crayons for my daughter when I homeschooled her. I bought ones that were on sale, but they were off brands that did not work very well. I have found that the only good crayons that I have found was Crayola brand

They are not expensive. They don't make everywhere dirty. They can last for a long time.

I have tried many other brands and store brands and find that Crayola is the one that shows the brighttest colors. And they look true colors also.

This is an interesting day since I like drawing. In the past I also bought crayons for my son to draw. Unfortunately he doesn't have this talent and his drawing is terrible

Lol! It seems to skip a generation. My mother and her brother can draw very well, but neither me nor my sister can. However my children are very good at drawing too.

Yes, I agree that the best company for making crayons is Crayola. No doubt in my mind.

I still use crayons, but mostly colored pencils, Crayola brand as an adult.

I bought a superhero set of crayons last year at Dollar tree, mainly because they were superhero themed ones. And well- they were not very good. Speaking of adult coloring books. I think I need to order a couple on Amazon. I have been meaning to get one and there are soooo many of them on Amazon. Happy crayon day!
