Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant blames the media for reporting the news that he dislikes Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook. Durant joined the Warriors before the start of the 2016-17 National Basketball Association (NBA) regular season as a free agent. Durant and Westbrook were the foundation of the Thunder basketball franchise for many years. Durant insists that there is no bitterness between himself and his former Thunder teammate this year even though they went on their separate ways. What Durant needs to know is that the media likes to create controversy to get the average basketball fans to watch the NBA stars on television or see them in person at the basketball arena. After all the NBA is not the second coming of Friday Night At The Fights, just rest some star players on televised games to thumb their nose at the television networks for putting them on television on so many dates a year.

If anyone had issue with Durant, it was Westbrook who didn't like being second fiddle. He chose to stay in OKC and be the big heese.
