There's so many ways to deal with the chaos that never seems to end. The cynics are hard at work and what should one do? Well, try ignoring, "just smile", or say something but be very cautious. There will always be cynical people. Some who aren't pleased no matter what one does. They'll always give a person a piece of their mind. Oh well. Chuckles will help prevent any irritation which some insist on trying to dish out.
Be brave enough to stand up when need be and just continue doing whatever it is which one loves. Don't give in and of course "enjoy living." Some try to annoy others because they're wanting their attention and when there's no attention then they'll try whatever it is they feel will work on a person's nerves. Just laugh and keep on going or perhaps throw up the hands.

They'll wonder why their tactics aren't working. Some cause trouble because they have nothing better to do. If one is going in "a direction" others are in agreement with then they'll become upset. Too bad. We're entitled to live our own lives. So never become discouraged when having to deal with the cynics. Eventually they'll find their own business to attend to. Perhaps. Keep smiling anyway.

So very true. Then you learn to carry on without them leaving them far behind

@teep11 ~I've had to deal with those people who are miserable and try to make everyone else around them miserable too. Now that I'm retired, I don't deal with them much anymore. When I was working, I use to keep Bon Jovi's song, "Have A Nice Day" in my head. The song addresses issues like that. Basically, Jon says agree to disagree and "Have A Nice Day". As you can see, I use the red smirk from that album as my icon.
