April Weather stirs Writing Juices

Sunny day here on the first of April with the first round of April showers expected Monday with a 100% chance of rain. But it won't be needed to bring May flowers as yards around this area have been in full bloom since late February with the much warmer than normal temps. The Azaleas bloomed more than a month early which put a damper on a neighboring state scheduled Azalea festival as they were done blooming at the time of festival.
Many other flowers are in full bloom which makes me wonder how yards are going to look come when you expect to see yards in full bloom. Easter hasn't come yet so maybe we will get a good cold snap that will shock the flowering bushes and allow them to bloom again when they would normally bloom. It has happened before, maybe again as the weather this winter and spring has been freaky.

The weather has been very strange this year for most areas. I wish we would get some cooler weather!

I did notice the early azaleas when I was at Ravine Park in Palatka, at least they were only a couple of weeks early there.
