I saw a poor bird in my yard

When I went to the back yard of my home today . To my surprise I found a big bird with white feather stood on the ground in the yard . I was walking try to close it . The bird did not move it's body and looked at me when it opened it's eyes . I gave the bird a little water in a small box . The bird just moved it's body far away . I didn't know why the bird stayed here . I guessed maybe it got sick or too old . I tried not to close it . I looked at the bird through the window . At last the bird went away . I did not see it in my yard again .
