This is an excellent series. It is about ordinary people like you and me who go abroad and get arrested for one reason or another and their story. These are true stories. Some of these persons were foolish enough to traffic in drugs to make money and got caught.
Others got abducted by a terror group and there are others who had miscellaneous troubles. All spent time in a foreign prison or setting.
These episodes were filmed a few years back and they show up sporadically. I have found them on National Geographic. MSNBC and CNBC. They are often on in the middle of the night. They may be on Prime or Netflix but I have not checked.
You have to look for them and, if you find them, the stories are very interesting.

The other night I saw one where young men mostly from Britain and one from the United States went to India for an extended holiday. They were befriended by a friendly Indian man who was born and raised in London. He invited them to visit a relatives house. They accepted the invite and instead of a visit, they were abducted and held for ransom. This friendly Indian man was really part of a terror group. They were eventually freed by the Indian police but the friendly Indian man went on to commit other terror acts..
