Well now I've really gone and done it. A little over a week ago, I went to the hair shop to get my hair cut. I've been using this same stylist ever since she was in beauty college. We have a great time together. We were joking around and laughing and all of a sudden she asked, "do you want to do some color?"
On the spur of the moment, I said YES.
Now I have a head of BLUE hair. And I mean it's intense blue. I get compliments everywhere I go, but I do wonder if people are saying they really like the color, or are they talking in subtext.
I don't care. I love this blue hair color. I may just go with permanent tint next time, since this time around it's a temporary rinse.
I'm now officially one of those little old blue-haired ladies. Hmmm, maybe the term lady is over the top.

@blitzfrick That is a nice blue but yes very intense. When I wake up in the morning my hair is pretty wacky. It is thick and naturally curly so it does it own thing.

@Happy2BeMe Mine has gone from very curly to very cranky. It also does its own thing, and I am hardly ever pleased with the result.

I went on vacation to the Caribbean one year, and on a whim decided to get my hair braided and in beads. I kept it like that for about a month when I got home. I told everyone I was going to leave it that way because I wanted dreadlocks! The look on people's faces was priceless!

I have never colored my hair other than the color it originally was. I see people here everyday on the street with different colored hair.
