Ghost In The Shell failure blamed on Scarlett Johansson

Scarleyy Johansson can't carry any movie on her own and complains about not being paid more money.

Scarlett's ethnicity is to blame? Just once would I like studios to blame the film's story and execution, instead of shifting the blame like this. Ghost In The Shell from what I know is philosophical themed crime drama that ask:"what makes us human?" As Major Makoto Kusuragi(yes that's the actual name of Scarlett's character for the record) is a human brain in a robot body. In the various cases she tackles with the agency "Section 9" tends to deal with this theme on some level. From what the trailers convey(I haven't seen the film yet) We have an atypical revenge plot with none of GiTS' spirit intact. How well that plot was executed should be at fault, not Scarlett's ethnicity.

I believe, in such cases, one person cannot be blamed.

I wish it be someone else other than Johansson, out of all the people who could pick from the world. I had not expected it to be. I agree she is perfect in role for the Marvel and sort of with avengers type movies. Ghost in shell is altogether a different story, only Asian fit into this character, as it is engraved in the fans mind, i expect to go with some one not so familiar kind of face as Hollywood. This movie could have worked well in my opinion if it was an Asian definitely, scarlet got the looks of american not the kind we would want to see in Japanese film. Ghost in shell is too perfect and wouldn't be expected to be made into real movies.
