Dishes going, rain coming and a quiet night.

I finished loading up the dinner dishes and started the dishwasher. There are a few handwashable items left in the sink- my silicone basting brush and another silicone baking implement. They actually cannot be put in the dishwasher. I'll either get to them tonight, or first thing in the morning. I am going to try to stay up a little later tonight. It's just after seven right now, and I want to get a little more done before getting ready for bed. There is supposed to be more rain, but it's pretty quiet out there now. Still gray but not as dark and ominous as it was earlier. Seems like unless the storm contnues it is going to be a fairly quiet night, before dinner we went and fed some oats to the horse that lives next door. I was going to check the mail- but the red clay driveway that leads up to the mailbox is pretty sludgy right now. So I will just have to do it in the morning.
