Baby blues is probably more common than we think. I don't remember going through it, but I had my son 21 years ago.

I had them very bad with both of my boys. If you told me they were cute I would cry. This is a very difficult time for new mothers and can very easily get out of hand. Just be aware that this is a temporary situation and try to work your way through it. If you have a friend you can talk to that might help. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, this is a very common problem after birth. Hormones are raging so hang in there and everything will get better.

Thanks for your reply. I am over them now, just got a little scared. My husband was so scared he wanted to take me back to the doctor's office. lol

I didn't get baby blues. But my hormones were pretty messed up when I was pregnant. I would get into a fit of laughing until I couldn't breathe. It happened a few times. I would laugh at anything that happened while I was laughing and I wouldn't stop until I couldn't breathe anymore and there were tears running out of my eyes. I also had an experience of watching the news and seeing about mothers losing their soldier sons and that made me blubber helplessly. That as in December, 1990 during the beginning of Desert Storm. My son was born in 1991.
