Long distance relationship is never been easy as always, it takes a lot of effort to both sides to make the relationship last. Misunderstanding is always a part of the process, some have petty fights and some turned into a serious one. it is never been easy coz it takes a lot of courage to trust the one you love. But when times get rough, don't neglect your partner coz it might be the end of it, if you can't handle the situation better let go of him/her at least not to give more pain. don't pretend that you can manage even if you can't and don't lie to yourself and to your partner coz that will be the most painful cause.

That pretty much applies to all relationships whether they are long distance or not. Communication and trust are so important it any relationship.

Long distance relationship LDR) is not easy. It requires full commitment and loyalty. At some point, some couples ended their relationship because lack of dedication.
