What is your favorite food to cook on the grill/bbq?

Now that Spring is here and I am starting to think about camping and grilling. I can't help by think of meals we will have. My favorite meal when camping is always breakfast. There is just something so wonderful about cooking food over an open fire. We also like to grill pork chops, chicken, steaks, hamburger, hotdogs, sauasages, potatoes and veggies. The one thing that we have discovered about camping is that you can pretty much cook anything on the grill. We have even had pizza on the grill/ which was awesome. Do you like to bbq? If so what is your favorite bbq meal?

I love when my husband cooks on the grill. My favorite thing on the grill is hamburgers but my second favorite is chicken wings. My husband makes butter and garlic wings that are so good!

We like to grill everything that you mentioned, we also love to grill fruit. Our favorite fruit to grill is peaches, they have to be a bit on the hard side, and with a dash of cinnamon they are delicious! We have a gas grill, so we can literally grill or cook anything in it, I've even baked a cake in it-successfully!

@Happy2BeMe When we were having our kitchen redone, I made our suppers outside on the gas grill, one day I made a quiche. Its the same as cooking in a gas oven, but you have to take into account the extra heat added by the sunshine on the stainless steel.

I haven't had the BBQ for a long time. I like it. It is also lots of fun. I especially like eating chicken wings in BBQ. That's cool to hear that you even had pizza on the grill. You are very professional

For me I had to bring corn each time I went camping. My family loves grilled corn so much. Second is sausage. But when grilling at home, our favorite is stingray.

Stingray is a delicacy, and not many people are familiar in preparing it, so I know lots of people never tried it. I happened to live where they are caught in abundance, and my dad learnt cleaning and preparing stingray for grill or stew, so I am lucky to tried grilled stingray.

We can't cook out where we live anymore. The people who took over a few years ago put it on the lease agreement that no longer can have cookouts or pools or even hoses to wash cars... but we used to do hot dogs, burgers, drumsticks, and i believe steak.

A lot of place don't allow cookouts when you are renting. It's a safety thing. We mostly just grill when we are camping.

@Happy2BeMe we used to be able to here though as long as the grill was away from the house. These new people cut down all the trees close by the apartments, and gave a whole bunch if idiotic rules. Hate it.

@Happy2BeMe May be because of the laws where you are. I invite you to Kenya. Two hundred dollars will get you a whole goat, someone to slaughter it and grill it for you. Bring a crowd like three more friends, you will eat goat for a week until you say "NO MORE!!!" Hahaha
